A samosa is a triangular shaped, deep-fried pastry.They are stuffed with a variety of fillings such as cheese, cheese and egg, minced meat with herbs and spices, vegetables such as potatoes, etc. Sweet fillings are also popular.
Samosa is a very common pastry consumed primarily in India and some other Asian countries such as Sri-Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal etc. It consists of a triangular (tetrahedral) golden brown crisp coating with the inside cavity filled with a stuffing.
